Sportingbet triumphs in Australian market

LONDON, England AND AUSTRALIA -- Sportingbet saw growth in its Australian market, helped by its acquisition of Centrebet in 2011, Reuters reported.

The Australian market now makes up 70 percent of Sportingbet's revenue, the report explained.

Sportingbet recently turned down a takeover bid by William Hill, Reuters reported.
