PokerStars named Brand of the Year at 2015 EGR Awards

(PRESS RELEASE) -- PokerStars.com, an Amaya brand, was recognized as the Online Gaming Brand of the Year, beating out many other notable names in the online gaming industry, at the 2015 EGR Operator Marketing & Innovation Awards held in London. The company was also awarded Best Tablet App for PokerStars Mobile.

"Our 'red spade' continued to thrive as the brand of choice for poker players over the last year, thanks to a distinctive and consistent brand message that is delivered by a great team around the world. We are very proud and grateful that all our efforts have been recognised with this award," said Chris Herd, PokerStars’ Global Creative Director.

PokerStars was also a finalist in the 'Innovation for Mobile and Tablet' category, as well as 'Innovation in Poker', 'Innovation of the Year' and 'Poker Marketing Campaign', with the last nomination coming for the All-In Kitchen, an interactive poker and dining experience held in East London.

Last November, eGaming Review also honoured PokerStars as Poker Operator and Mobile Poker Operator of the Year at the EGR Operator Awards.
