New DraftKings sportsbook opens at Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge

(PRESS RELEASE) -- CQ Holding Company, Inc. and DraftKings today announced the opening of a temporary DraftKings Sportsbook location at Hollywood Casino - Baton Rouge. This is the second collaboration between DraftKings and CQ Holding Company, Inc., which operates DraftKings at Casino Queen in East St. Louis, Illinois.

The temporary DraftKings Sportsbook at Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge will offer Louisiana sports fans ages 21 and over an immersive, in-person sports betting experience, including 20 self-service kiosks and three over-the-counter sports betting ticket cages where customers can engage with team members to place bets in person. Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge, an exciting riverboat casino docked on the Mississippi River at 1717 River Rd. near Capitol Lakes, offers approximately 27,000 square feet of gaming space with 859 gaming machines and 12 table games.

Construction on a permanent DraftKings Sportsbook located inside of the Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge is currently underway. Hollywood Casino recently broke ground on a 38,000-square-foot expansion project with plans to move the casino operations to land and increase its footprint to 100,000 square feet of space, including the permanent state-of-the-art DraftKings Sportsbook and new dining outposts.
