LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Online poker network giant, iPoker has kicked off
satellite qualifiers, through its partnering card rooms, that award seats at four online poker tournaments with a total prize pool of $1,000,000 guaranteed. The fourth tournament will freeze in the online stage and resume at a live event in Prague.
The iPoker Online Poker Series, or iPOPS, launches on November 28, 2011 with the first event - a $200,000 guaranteed tournament. Three more events will follow, culminating on December 4 with a $500,000 guaranteed freezout. The action will pause when only 27 players remain and the tournament will continue at a live event at the Ambassador Casino, Prague on December 10. The finalists will receive an all-inclusive travel package including five-star hotel accommodation and spending money.
