HOLLYWOOD, California – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Horizon Productions, Inc.
announced today the return of the highly successful Super Bowl halftime
special, Bodog.com Lingerie Bowl IV. Today's press conference from the Los
Angeles Memorial Coliseum's 50 yd line (football in LA) introduced the four
teams competing for a chance to play in Lingerie Bowl IV, celebrity hosts,
former NFL greats and the four new expansion teams which will begin play in
2008. These teams include San Francisco Seduction, Las Vegas Sin, Atlanta
Steam and Miami Caliente.
In simply three seasons the Lingerie Bowl has become 'must-see' TV for
Super Bowl viewers around the world. "Along with your group of friends,
beer and potato chips the Lingerie Bowl has become a must-have for any
Super Bowl party," said Creator & Executive Producer Mitch Mortaza.
Following the Janet Jackson 'wardrobe malfunction' in 2004, NFL's
halftime show has been 'watered down' with conservative acts such as Paul
McCartney and the Rolling Stones with a combined age of 317. This
conservative approach by the NFL has set the stage for the Lingerie Bowl to
truly become the alternative for many of those seeking edgy 'Britneyesque'
type of entertainment at halftime.
The live Super Bowl XLI halftime special on Sunday, February 4, 2007
will truly be a sports & entertainment extravaganza featuring supermodels
playing full-contact tackle football, celebrities, lingerie fashion show
and chart-topping musical performances.
Horizon is currently in discussions with several corporate sponsors in
reference to partnerships surrounding this year's Lingerie Bowl broadcast
as well as lingerie football league play in summer 08'.
