Bet365 profits up by third

STOKE, England -- Bet365 saw profits rose to £148m, along with a 19% increase in employee numbers, The Guardian reported.

The company is 13 years old and now operates a site that garners more bets than Ladbrokes and William Hill, the report explained.

The company also remains British-based, compared to its competitors who have moved offshore, and is a very significant employer in Stoke, The Guardian made note.
