PokerStars heading to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico

(PRESS RELEASE) -- With the first Latin American Poker Tour Season Two event now underway in Costa Rica, PokerStars has announced details for the next stop of the LAPT: Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico from December 5-7, 2008.

The $2,700 buy-in Nuevo Vallarta event, which will be held at the beautiful beachfront Marival Resort & Suites, has been added to the LAPT following the huge success of events in Brazil, Costa Rica and Uruguay during Season One, more than a thousand poker players from 45 countries took part last season, creating a prize pool of over $2.5 million. Season Two will take in a total of six countries including the addition of Mexico, Chile and Argentina.

Players can win their seat to Nuevo Vallarta online with PokerStars for as little as $2.20 giving them the chance to play against top international stars including Team PokerStars Pros Humberto Brenes, Andre Akkari, Alexandre Gomes and former world champion Greg Raymer.
